Accessibility statement for Kit List
Prepared 24 September 2026.
Our aim
We want every reader to be able to use Kit List, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have built in
- Every control works from the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus ring and a skip link to the main content.
- Headings, landmarks and lists are marked up properly so screen readers can move around each page.
- Kit states never rely on colour alone: each one also has its own shape and a written label.
- Text meets contrast guidance in both the light and the dark colour scheme.
- Pages reflow on small screens and can be zoomed to 400 per cent without losing content.
- Nothing plays or moves by itself, and animation is switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Images carry text alternatives, and every form field has a visible label and plain-language errors.
Known limits
- Official screenshots sometimes contain small in-game text that we cannot change; nothing on the page depends on reading it.
- Wide comparison tables scroll sideways inside their own box on narrow screens rather than shrinking the text.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on Kit List is hard to use, email editors@kitlistgames.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and will offer the information in another format while we fix the problem.
